GILBERT DE MONTSALVAT Year of the Hippopotamus

The Gilbert de Montsalvat Year of the Hippopotamus is a distinctive special edition created to celebrate the brand's 18th anniversary. Produced in Nicaragua and presented in an imposing Perfecto format, this cigar is an original and playful tribute to the hippopotamus, a symbol of quiet strength, depth and character. Limited to just 499 boxes worldwide, it is also a particularly interesting release for collectors. The smoking experience opens with delicate hazelnut notes, accompanied by a creamy and enveloping texture. As the cigar develops, a considerably more intense spicy character emerges, featuring pepper and chilli nuances that give the blend its distinctive personality. Beneath its initial smoothness lies considerable strength, capable of surprising even experienced aficionados. The Perfecto format contributes to a dynamic smoking experience, allowing the aromatic sensations to evolve progressively. An unconventional cigar created for those who appreciate exclusive releases, bold character and a touch of originality.
