Casa 1910 Soldadera Edition Sampetrina Robusto is a cigar from Casa 1910’s Soldadera Edition, a collection dedicated to the women who took part in the Mexican Revolution. Sampetrina pays tribute to Petra Herrera, who fought alongside the forces led by Pancho Villa before eventually forming her own brigade made exclusively of women. Handmade, it is presented in the Robusto format, measuring 127 mm in length with a 50 Ring Gauge. Its Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper surrounds a Dominican binder and a filler blend of Mexican and Dominican tobaccos. Medium to full in strength, it delivers a complex and pleasantly sweet smoking experience, marked by notes of pepper and nutmeg, followed by cedar wood, cocoa and earth. As the cigar progresses, nuances of molasses and a pronounced toasted character emerge, creating a balanced interplay of sweetness, spice and depth.
