The Hoyo de Monterrey Double Coronas Gran Reserva Cosecha 2013 represents the brand’s first Gran Reserva in the prestigious Double Coronas vitola. Presented at the XXI Habanos Festival in 2019, it is made from tobacco harvested in 2013 and aged for at least five years before being rolled. Its imposing format, measuring 194 mm with a 49 ring gauge, offers an approximately 80–100 minute smoking experience, developing the elegant and aromatic character typical of Hoyo de Monterrey. The profile is delicate yet progressively more complex, with notes of cedar and wood, toasted nuances and earthy undertones that accompany the cigar throughout its evolution. The extended aging of the tobacco brings balance, depth and remarkable harmony. A prestigious Habano born from the combination of one of the brand’s most important vitolas and the Gran Reserva concept, designed for a slow and contemplative smoking experience.
