The Campesano is a distinctive Italian cigar, entirely handmade in the Bassano del Grappa manufactory according to the centuries-old tradition of Nostrano del Brenta. Introduced in 2019, it is made from a distinctive blend consisting of approximately 75% Nostrano del Brenta tobacco and 25% Cuban Piloto, a combination designed to enhance the aromatic richness of the Italian tobacco. Both the wrapper and binder are made from Campese tobacco grown in Bassano del Grappa, while the leaves undergo a long 3-to-5-year aging process followed by a further maturation period of around six months after production. Its distinctive truncated-conical shape provides an approximately 25-minute smoke with a decisive yet satisfying character. The flavor profile develops sweet and savory tones accompanied by nuances of nuts and aromatic herbs, finishing with a clean, fresh and persistent aftertaste.
