POR LARRANAGA Galanes

The Por Larrañaga Galanes represents a modern interpretation of Cuban cigar-making tradition, introduced in 2021 in a format created specifically for the brand. Entirely handmade using Longfiller construction, it features a Parejo shape, measuring 120 mm in length and a Ring Gauge of 52, for approximately 40–50 minutes of smoking time. The profile opens with delicate notes of toasted grains and light wood, accompanied by a soft creamy nuance reminiscent of café latte. As the cigar progresses, white and black pepper emerge, while the aromas gradually become more spicy and savoury. The grain notes remain present throughout the smoking experience, creating continuity between the softer opening and the more pronounced middle section. Towards the finish, the woody character becomes more prominent, accompanied by a drier sensation and persistent spice. The Por Larrañaga Galanes therefore delivers a balanced and progressive smoking experience, defined by the contrast between its initially creamy and toasted nuances and a drier, woody and spicy finish.
