ALEC BRADLEY Prensado Robusto

The Alec Bradley Prensado Robusto is one of the most representative expressions of the Prensado line, renowned for its distinctive character and blend built around Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos. The line gained a prominent place in Alec Bradley’s recent history when the Churchill version received 96 points from Cigar Aficionado and was named Cigar of the Year in 2011.

The Robusto is entirely handmade at the Raíces Cubanas factory in Honduras, using a Longfiller construction. A Honduran Corojo Maduro wrapper surrounds a Nicaraguan binder and a filler made from selected Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos. Its distinctive box-pressed shape, combined with a rounded head, gives the cigar a characteristic appearance and contributes to a concentrated smoking experience.

The flavour profile reveals notes of cream, chocolate, coffee, fruit, pepper and earth, supported by pronounced toasted nuances. The smoke is creamy with a medium volume, while the cigar maintains a medium-full character, balancing sweetness, roasted flavours and spice throughout the smoking experience.

Measuring 127 mm in length with a Ring Gauge of 50, the Robusto provides approximately 55 minutes of smoking time—a compact yet flavourful format for aficionados looking to experience the distinctive character of the Prensado line in a more approachable size.
