Alec Bradley Texas Lancero

The Alec Bradley Texas Lancero is a cigar with an unmistakably unconventional format, first introduced at the 2014 IPCPR show in Las Vegas. Measuring an impressive 178 mm in length with a 70 ring gauge, it reinterprets the traditional Lancero shape on a much larger scale. Handmade at Tabacos de Oriente Danlí in Honduras, it features a Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper, an Indonesian binder and a filler blend of tobaccos from Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Honduras. The approximately two-hour smoking experience develops a medium-bodied and well-balanced profile, with notes of cedar, earth, leather, nuts, pepper and a pleasant creamy sweetness. Its distinctive pigtail cap, traditionally associated with the slender Lancero format, creates an intriguing contrast with the cigar’s imposing dimensions. An original expression that combines impressive presence, balance and aromatic complexity.

The Alec Bradley Texas Lancero is one of Alec Bradley’s most daring creations, conceived to take the traditional Lancero format to dimensions far beyond the usual standards. First presented at IPCPR 2014 in Las Vegas, it gives the Lancero concept a deliberately Texan interpretation, inspired by the idea that “everything is bigger in Texas.”

Measuring an impressive 177 mm in length with a Ring Gauge of 70, the Texas Lancero immediately stands out for its extraordinary proportions. It is handmade, Longfiller, featuring a Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper, an Indonesian binder and filler tobaccos from Costa Rica, Honduras and Nicaragua.

With an approximate 120-minute smoking time, the cigar develops a rich and layered profile. Notes of cream, nuts and sweetness gradually give way to nuances of pepper, wood, earth and leather. It produces a satisfying volume of smoke while maintaining an evolving aromatic character throughout the long smoking experience.

Its distinctive Pigtail closure, traditionally associated with long and slender Lancero formats, becomes an unexpected signature on a cigar that completely overturns their usual proportions. An imposing format created for aficionados looking for an exceptionally long smoking experience and something genuinely unconventional.
